How to Turn Off Phone Without Screen iPhone 11

If your iPhone’s screen has stopped working, it can be a scary experience. But there are a few workarounds you can use to force-restart your device and fix any software issues it might be experiencing.

You can also use a professional iOS system recovery tool, such as WooTechy iPhixer, to restart your iPhone without losing any data. The method is relatively easy and can solve many common hiccups.

1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button

If you have an iPhone 11 or any other model that doesn’t come with a home button, there are several ways to turn off your device without using the screen. Thankfully, this can be done quickly and efficiently.

One way to do this is by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button on your phone. You can find this button on the bottom or side of different models, and it will vary slightly by device.

As you hold down the Sleep/Wake button, a red slider should appear on the screen. You can then drag the slider to the center of the screen to shut down your device.

Another way to do this is by pressing and holding both the Home button and the Power button at the same time. This will shut down your iPhone and reset it to factory settings. Do not hold both buttons for too long or your device will restart.

2. Press and hold the Home button

If you want to turn off your iPhone without touching the screen, you can do so by following these simple steps. However, this method will only work if your device is not damaged.

If your iPhone is running iOS 11, it has a new button feature that allows you to power off your phone without using the touch screen. This feature is called Assistive Touch, and it works just like the Home button. It’s a useful feature to have, especially if your side or home button has failed you or doesn’t work anymore.

In addition to turning off your phone without the touch screen, Assistive Touch can also help you restart it if it has frozen or locked up. It will solve software glitches that you might not be able to fix with your finger or a manual restart.

To use this feature, go to Settings – General – Accessibility and toggle AssistiveTouch. Then, open the AssistiveTouch shortcut on your display.

Alternatively, you can press and hold both the Home and Side buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears on your screen. If you have a model that doesn’t have the Home button, simply use the Volume Up and Down buttons instead.

After a few seconds, your iPhone will shut down. Afterward, you can release both the buttons.

3. Press and hold the Volume Up button

If your iPhone screen is dead and you can’t access the power off slider, there are a few ways to turn it off without touching it. One way is to perform a force restart, which doesn’t erase any data or information. Another way is to use Assistive Touch, a virtual key that you can position anywhere on your display.

If you are unable to use the volume buttons on your iPhone 11 to turn it off, there is a solution for that too. It’s a simple process that doesn’t require any complicated hardware.

First, you’ll need to clean the buttons on your phone carefully. This will help make them work again.

Once you’ve cleaned the buttons, try pressing them a few times to see if they work again. If they don’t, it may be a sign that you need to get the buttons repaired.

You can also try a more complex method, which involves holding down the Sleep/Wake button on your device until the Power OFF slider appears. It’s a less efficient and time-consuming method, but it can also help you turn your iPhone off if the buttons are dead.

This method is only available in certain models of iPhone, such as the iPhone X, the iPhone 8 and later, and the iPhone 7. It’s not the easiest way to turn off your device though, so it’s probably best for emergencies only.

4. Press and hold the Side button

You can easily turn off your iPhone 11 without a screen if you need to. This is a great option for many different reasons, from replacing the screen to fixing software problems or simply cleaning up your device.

Thankfully, the process is relatively simple, and most iPhone models have this feature built in. You just need to make sure that you don’t swipe the slider.

The first step is to press and hold the Side button, which should be on your device’s top/right side based on its model. You should then wait for the display lights to turn off, on, and then off again, with the Apple logo appearing on your screen for the second time.

This will cause the device to go into Recovery Mode and then restart back up into iOS. If your device doesn’t automatically restart, you can try a few other methods to force restart your iPhone.

One method is to long-press and hold both the Volume Up and Down buttons on your device. This will also turn off the phone temporarily, but you will need to release both the buttons at once after a few seconds to reset your device.
